MISSY

ARRIVED AT M2E MARCH 2019

Missy arrived at M2E with her son Rustus. They lived peaceful, joyful lives on the sanctuary for 5 years. Originally living with their life-long friend, Sunday, Missy and Rustus briefly joined the sheep, until Lizzie joined them in their own Goat Wonderland! Rustus unfortunately passed away in August 2023.

Missy is a Boer goat. The Boer goat is the leading breed used for specialty meat in Australia. In the agriculture industry, the attractive traits of breeding Boer goats is their high fertility and growth speed to be slaughtered younger. Instead, the attractive traits of our beautiful friend Missy is her kindness towards her best friend Lizzie, her joy of playing on the goat playground, and her love of butt scratches.
