LIZZIE

Rescued february 2019

Lizzie fought for her freedom. She has an unbelievable strength in her!

Saanen goats are exploited as milk machines in the dairy industry. Lizzie was treated as such. She was found wandering the roads with a badly infected udder, a result of excessive milking and abuse. The rescuer brought her to M2E, we have been able to treat her with a mammectomy, precluding her from having any more trouble with infection in her udder. It was a long round at the vet, however she’s been healthy and fully recovered for two years.

Lizzie will never miss out on a weet-bix or apple when a tour group makes its round, often climbing atop the fencing to get higher ground on Rustus and Missy.
